Purpose of International Club Copenhagen,ICC

" INTERNATIONAL CLUB COPENHAGEN' established 1/1 2003.
Purpose of International Club Copenhagen,ICC

That leading foreign representatives of Governments, from the business community, of international organizations and of culture should be able to meet in person on a permanent basis with their danish counterparts.
Therefore the ' International Club Copenhagen' would like to welcome active personalities from this group to help the Club to fulfill its objectives. Only persons active in important fields of the Danish society are invited.

Since International communication and cooperation is essential for the growth and development of every society today, the Club should be a forum for personalities interested in the progress and quality of society now and in the future.

We are (Sept 2011) around 2800 VIP´s on the invitation list, and the number is positively growing all the time through selected invitations.

As ALL the members are very active persons, all invitations are considered an interesting offer (NO OBLIGATION), which members can attend, if possible, and if they find the subject interesting and / or want to communicate with the other club – members.

SIGN UP - IF YOU COME TO A MEETING.
DO NOTHING – IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND.

Usually the members are welcome to bring a compagnion to the meetings, if other instruction is not given

As a non-profit Club the intention is to keep cost-level as low as possible. The club will have no own property, and all persons working for the Club are doing that on an honourary basis. Therefore the annual membership fee is mostly to be used for information material and communication.

The Club intends to have a monthly meeting with important speakers and / or visits to institutions and events.
If expenses for meals are included in the programme, members will have to pay for themselves. Most meetings are expected to be and have been free of charge.

Decided at Gen.Assembly 17/5-04:
ICC is as a principle free of membership fee, but to have a certain amount of cash at the bank-account to 'work with' and as a back up of the activities,it was decided, that a 'normal' membership fee is 'expected' to be 300 DKr / year.
The Clubmaster can evt. except members from this, if it is for the benefit of ICC.
